Nagashima Spaland

Nagashima Spa Land is a large amusement park in Kuwana, Mie Prefecture, Japan. It has several roller coasters, thrill rides, and rides for smaller children, as well as a giant Ferris wheel, and a water park. The park is the among the most visited amusement parks in the world.

Nagashima’s White Cyclone rollercoaster, at 1,700 m (5,600 ft) in length, is the third longest wooden roller coaster in the world and the park’s Steel Dragon coaster is the world’s longest steel rollercoaster at 2,479 metres (8,133 ft). The ride is the second fastest coaster in Japan and the sixth fastest in the world.

The waterpark features a variety of pools and waterslides and is a hugely popular day out during the summer months.

There are buses to the park from Kuwana Station, which is a roughly 30 minute train journey from Nagoya.
