Ginza

Ginza is the traditional heart of Tokyo shopping with department stores, art galleries, and breathtakingly expensive cups of coffee.
The Mitsukoshi Department Store, the first to open in Japan, still operates here as do the Hankyu, Seibu, and Matsuya. With the fascinating food halls in the basements and their impressively priced melons, through clothing and house wares, to the classy restaurants at the top of the buildings, they are all good places to explore as well as being great spots to pick up souvenirs.
The Sony Building, where you can try all their latest products and games, is a must if you’re missing your PlayStation. The nearby Kabukiza theatre often has last-minute tickets, but if you would prefer to book in advance for an afternoon performance, let us know and we will be happy to help.
