Into Japan is a small company but we are growing quickly and there are currently opportunities for specialist Japan advisors in our Oxford office and VIP planning and support in our Tokyo office.
Satisfying our clients needs will always be our first priority but we hope to do better than that. We only believe a job is well done if we exceed their expectations. In many cases our detailed knowledge of Japan and Japan based staff allow us to provide services that our clients did not even know were possible.
This comes naturally when staff are motivated by their enthusiasm for the country and culture, and are thrilled to share this with our clients. As managing director, it is my job to support the natural enthusiasm by providing the right working environment and conditions.
Good technology, training and regular trips to Japan are all part of that. But even more important is an active top down management style. This means that responsibilities are passed down through the company so that everyone is encouraged to learn and develop their skills, taking on increased responsibility as soon as the opportunity arises.
Successful applicants will be knowledgable about Japan and enthusiastic to learn more. Direct experience such as having lived in Japan or a Japanese language degree or 2 to 3 years on the JET programme is essential. Good telephone and computer skills are also important.
