Shibuya

Shibuya is known for fashion, shopping and entertainment, and it’s easy to see why when you arrive at the busy station area. The Hachiko exit, with its statue of a famously faithful dog, is a popular meeting spot, and if you follow the crowds across the famous intersection you’ll find no shortage of shops of any kind. Increasingly popular with style-conscious young Japanese, it’s a prime location to see some of the most trendy and daring fashonistas. This is also a great area to try karaoke Japanese style – in a karaoke ‘box’, which is a private room where you can sing to your heart’s content and order in drinks and snack foods.
