Shabu-Shabu

Somewhat similar to sukiyaki, shabu-shabu is a hotpot dish of meat sliced paper thin, and vegetables boiled in water. The food is cooked piece by piece by the diner at the table before being dipped in a sauce and eaten.

There are a variety of sauces that can be used to dip the meat and vegetables into, most commonly ponzu and sesame sauce.
